Tip 2: Take Care When Moving Furniture
Furniture sometimes needs to be moved about. When that happens, you naturally have to protect your beautiful floor. We recommend that you preferably lift the furniture as much as possible instead of sliding it across the floor.
Is the furniture too heavy for you to lift? Then try putting something under the furniture before moving it. You could use a rug or a piece of cloth, for example. If you haven’t already done so, we also recommend that you fit protective felt pads under your table and chairs. That will help you prevent a great deal of trouble.
“Our flooring is scratchproof. This means that they have a ‘Scratch Guard’ coating that guarantees that you will be able to enjoy your flooring for a long time.”
Tip 3: Use Water Sparingly When Cleaning
Your flooring does not really need any special maintenance. Certainly do not use too much water.
To clean your floor, simply use a damp floor cloth or a microfibre cloth.
To clean flooring with bevelled edges or V-grooves, we recommend that you only clean them dry. If you use water to clean them, dirt may collect in the bevelled grooves and may prove difficult to remove. Always vacuum-clean the floor first or sweep it with a microfibre cloth. If necessary, you can subsequently use a damp microfibre cloth.
